Mandatory conflict resolution training for healthcare professionals in England. This e-learning provides the knowledge component of conflict resolution training, aligned to the Core Skills Training Framework, and should be supplemented by practical instruction and your employer's local arrangements. It covers causes of conflict and escalation, communication models (PALMS, LEAPS, CUDSA and the five step appeal), recognising and responding to risk, self-defence law, reporting routes including RIDDOR, post-incident support and reflection.
